About the role

Design and implement core systems in Rust that power Developer Environments and secure secret handling
Lead the development, testing and debugging of production software systems for new and existing product features
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align technical decisions with project goals
Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance and best practices
Lead planning, task distribution, provide estimates, and ensure work completion on time
Drive technical design, specifications, and improvements to performance, accessibility, reliability, and scalability
Work with teams to develop effective testing strategies and ensure high quality product delivery
Solve complex technical challenges and provide innovative solutions

5+ years of experience in software development
Hands-on experience with Rust in production
Passion for and strong experience in software development best practices, coding standards, and design patterns
Demonstrated ability to tackle complex problems and propose effective and innovative solutions
Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical cross-functional partners
Proven experience in implementing testing methodologies and debugging techniques
Continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and mentorship experience
Bonus: Experience with Kotlin, Swift, JavaScript, Go, or related languages or ability to pick up new languages quickly
