About the role
- Preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements (German GAAP (HGB) / IFRS)
- Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis for all business areas
- Development and maintenance of financial models, KPI reports and dashboards
- Preparation of management reports and presentations for executive management
- Support for strategic and investment decisions through rigorous profitability analyses
- Further development of controlling processes, tools and reporting structures
- Close collaboration with Accounting, Sales, Procurement and Production
- Point of contact for auditors, tax advisors and banks
Requirements
- Successfully completed degree in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling or a comparable qualification
- At least 5 years of professional experience in controlling, preferably in an industrial, trading or international environment
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, financial reporting (HGB/IFRS) and financial analysis
- Confident user of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics or similar) and Excel/BI tools
- Analytical thinking, strong numerical affinity and a structured working style
- Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex issues clearly
- Excellent German and English skills, spoken and written
