Financial Planning and Analysis

• Report to Head of Treasury and Compliance; based in Berlin office with international finance collaboration.
• Act as finance lead for the IoT business line: understand commercial models, cost structures and growth drivers, collaborate with commercial, product and engineering teams, conduct quality checks on billing data and support revenue assurance, provide insights to enhance financial performance, and help define financial processes for scaling.
• Serve as main finance point of contact for two German legal entities: prepare financial statements in compliance with German GAAP, coordinate tax filings, statutory audits and regulatory submissions, liaise with auditors and tax advisors, align local reporting with group requirements, and oversee monthly payroll review and payroll tax submissions.
• Lead tracking and documentation of internally capitalised development costs under IFRS; partner with Product and Engineering to assess eligible activities and timing; maintain audit-ready documentation.
• Own and perform reconciliations for critical balance sheet accounts; investigate aged items and resolve variances; support month-end and year-end close processes with focus on accuracy and deadlines.
• Contribute to cross-functional systems projects (financial systems and billing platforms); identify opportunities for automation and process optimisation across the finance function.
