About the role

  • Research and evaluate podcast shows that align with client objectives and target audiences.
  • Write and send personalized, persuasive pitches to podcast hosts and producers.
  • Follow up with podcast contacts to maintain momentum and secure bookings
  • Build and maintain an organized database of podcast contacts, including show details and booking preferences.
  • Develop and update media profiles to guide pitch strategies.
  • Manage all logistics for podcast interviews, including scheduling, confirmations, and technical setup.
  • Prepare briefing materials such as key talking points, host background, and show overviews.
  • Monitor podcast placements and measure outcomes such as reach, engagement, and audience fit.
  • Compile coverage and performance reports, providing insights and improvement recommendations.
  • Use scheduling and project management tools to organize outreach workflows and deadlines.
  • Maintain clear records of pitch status, media contact history, and interview arrangements

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of the podcasting space: formats, genres, hosts, and audience behaviors.
  • This role requires prior hands-on experience booking podcast guests; training-only or academic experience is not sufficient.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Experience in PR, podcast guest booking, influencer outreach, or talent coordination.
  • Proven ability to create compelling pitches tailored to media contacts.
  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced remote environment.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
