• Promotes Elara Caring’s philosophy, mission statement and administrative policies to ensure quality of care
• Performs direct physical therapy services in accordance with accepted standards of practice and certified by the patient’s physician to ensure quality and continuity of care

Physical Therapist Assistant, Home Health

• Ensure accurate, compliant, timely billing and appropriate reimbursement for multispecialty medical professional services from various insurance payers and patients
• Prepare and re-submit clean claims to various insurance companies either electronically or by paper in accordance with specific payer guidelines and/or contract requirements
• Analyze and correct first pass rejected claims for completeness and accuracy of information for second pass clean claim submission
• Research and perform all primary and secondary billing claim status follow up activities for assigned insurance plans
• Review, evaluate and process all claim appeals through resubmission to insurance carriers with complete and accurate supporting documentation required
• Research and recommend any customer account adjustments and/or write-offs to the Manager based upon collectability of account with insurance carrier or patient
• Recognize and report claims problems, errors, and discrepancies to management in order to proactively identify and effectively resolve billing trends in a timely manner

Accounts Receivable Specialist – Physical Therapy, Medical Billing, EHR

• Collaborate with a small, interdisciplinary team including a psychiatric physician, an RN Director, and a CNA to provide high-quality care to our Older Adult patients as ordered.
• Including therapeutic services utilizing group, individual, and family therapy sessions in a geriatric intensive outpatient environment.
• Participate in community education for the local medical facilities and other community groups on the importance of behavioral health for all, including older adults.
• Work with the program team to facilitate treatment team meetings; develop and update the patient-centered treatment plan; produce compliant documentation in a prescribed timeline.
