Therapist

• Provide EAP services and other clinical services as required, including confidential counseling, case management, direct clinical services, and assessments
• Conduct prompt, efficient telephone assessments via queued calls and the Meet Now function for concerns related to client behavior and emotional health, family and wellbeing, workplace issues and other personal matters, including crisis situations
• Offer practical, actionable strategies that clients can implement independently
• Accept case assignments, develop treatment plans, complete case progress notes and determine case closure through the clinical supervisor
• Develop specific action plans with each client under regular supervision
• Perform comprehensive psychosocial assessments of clients when necessary
• Carry out risk assessments and support interventions to prevent suicide or other risks
• Complete intervention notes and any other follow-up documentation as required
• Maintain established service levels and direct service objectives
• Consult the Stay at Work clinical management team as needed and collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely and effective service delivery
• Facilitate workshops as required and where personal skills and availability permit
• May also provide Crisis Management Services (CMS) upon request.

Mental Health Therapist, Bilingual French

• Conduct initial client assessments, identification of problems, and establishment of goals and treatment plans
• Develop client-centered plans with clients, inter-professional team and other stakeholders
• Engage clients using a collaborative approach, build rapport and trust, and achieve a mutual understanding and agreement related to the services to be provided
• Maintain professional client records related to client encounters and plans
• Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team consisting of government agencies, healthcare workers, and other community resources

Physiotherapist

• Provide community visits to assess abilities and needs of individuals while working with multidisciplinary teams and equipment vendors to facilitate function.
• Client groups receiving treatment may include pediatrics for in home or school services and/or adults with medical/health concerns.
• Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team consisting of healthcare workers and other community resources.
• Analyze physical, cultural, social and institutional environmental impact on occupational performance and engagement issues.
• Develop client centered plans with client, inter-professional teams and adjust services to reflect a client centered approach related to physical, social, cultural, institutional, and economic environment.
• Demonstrate effective and evidence-based problem solving and judgement to address client needs.
• Engage clients using a collaborative approach, building rapport and trust, achieving a mutual understanding and agreement related to services to be provided.
• Maintain professional client records related to client encounters and plans in compliance with ParaMed’s policies and the standards applied by the regulatory body or Occupational Therapy college.

Pediatric Occupational Therapist

Occupational Therapist

• Educating and providing quality healthcare services to our clients by initiating Oxygen therapy, performing assessments, educating clients in the use and knowledge of equipment, and conducting follow-up service.
• Conducting full respiratory assessments
• Assessing and evaluating patient test results
• Delivering of equipment and supplies
• Determining respiratory therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians and care teams
• Identifying discrepancies with respiratory therapy treatments and conveying them to the care team
• Ensuring the completion of all documentation and form to initiate therapy
• Providing follow-up to Clients to evaluate effects of treatment plan
• Preparing funding documents and facilitating payment
• Demonstrating and educating patients on usage of products and services

• Conduct 50-minute virtual sessions for members experiencing mental health symptoms.
• Follow up with clients to ensure progress in their care journey with Dialogue.
• Provide evidence-based care in a collaborative environment, prioritizing emotional stabilization, safety, and development of psychological resilience.
• Equip members with practical, CBT-based strategies and tools to effectively navigate acute stressors and improve daily functioning.
• Work closely with our internal case managers and clinical teams to ensure a holistic, seamless support system for each client.
• Maintain vigilant attention to member safety in all clinical interactions, ensuring ethical standards and crisis protocols are strictly followed.
• Actively contribute to the evolution of our standards of care, ensuring each intervention meets the highest standards of clinical excellence.
• You will be responsible for patient safety in your role with members.
