Technical Project Manager

• Act as project manager for meteorological station installations and service campaigns, including:
• Serve as key point of contact for customers, helping translate technical requirements into clear plans and maintaining strong, trusted relationships throughout the project.
• Organizing and overseeing subcontractor schedules and mobilizations for on-site installation and commissioning of equipment, often with last-minute changes.
• Remotely support technical troubleshooting (meteorological sensors, data acquisitions systems, etc.)
• Work collaboratively with various stakeholders to resolve issues in a time critical manner
• Safely complete projects by ensuring work is planned and executed in accordance with DNV safety procedures and industry best practices
• Consulting, designing, procuring, and preparing instrumentation suites for measurements.
• Data monitoring, authoring and reviewing technical plans and reports
• Work with team leaders to coordinate delivery of all the Section’s projects per the following priorities:
• Customer satisfaction
• Timeliness, quality and on-budget of deliverables
• Uncovering opportunities to add value

Technical Project Manager – Measurements

• Perform requirements gathering necessary to design and build complex Public Safety & Emergency Management systems of enterprise monitoring system for related projects.
• Manage the design of the Enterprise Monitoring Solution meeting Public Safety & Emergency Management needs related to monitoring and alerting requirements.
• Develop and design VISIO or CAD type engineering drawings, bill of materials and technical specifications.
• Plan and coordinate the design of system hardware and software for monitoring systems.
• Manage validation of systems for functionality, performance, fault tolerance and operational readiness.
• Coordinate technical specifications and bill of materials discussions.
• Provide oversight of IT consultants and staff; manage vendor relationships.
• Ensure adherence to PMO methodology and development standards.
• Engage in PMO functions including budget monitoring, communication plans, and risk management.
• Review project artifacts including requirements, UX design, architecture, testing and implementation documentation.
• Manage training plans and future support needs.
• Manage project closeout and knowledge transfer.
• Support process improvement aligned with PMBOK and PSEM methodologies.
• Report project status to senior management and stakeholders.
• Support PMO functions including change requests, scheduling and reporting.
• Address client concerns and manage risks and issues.
• Manage special projects and initiatives.

PSEM Technical Project Manager

• Direct activities of the project team’s execution with a focus on efficiency, quality, and visibility.
• Create and manage leadership visibility aspects of projects such as reporting on budget revisions and project timelines.
• Coordinate project material availability, consumption, and reporting.
• Review new and existing processes for improvement opportunities.
• Anticipate and review resource constraints and demands associated with project execution.
• Serve as point of escalation for all project prioritization and issues.
