About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Direct activities of the project team’s execution with a focus on efficiency, quality, and visibility.
- Create and manage leadership visibility aspects of projects such as reporting on budget revisions and project timelines.
- Coordinate project material availability, consumption, and reporting.
- Review new and existing processes for improvement opportunities.
- Anticipate and review resource constraints and demands associated with project execution.
- Serve as point of escalation for all project prioritization and issues.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree (B.S. or equivalent from four-year college or technical school) in field such as Engineering or Technology and five years related experience.
- Masters degree preferred.
- Background in telecommunications technical project management and engineering preferred.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- PMP certification preferred.
- Previous experiences in project management; Fiber or HFC Outside Plant, Telecommunications technologies such as PON or DOCSIS.
- Experience with Site Tracker and/or other project management and workflow software platforms.
- Familiarity with Telecommunications equipment, design and construction techniques.
