Supply Chain

• Overall responsibility for the Supply Chain Management department with 70 employees
• Professional and disciplinary leadership and development of managers and teams
• Strategic development of Supply Chain Management (optimizations and innovations using modern methods)
• Management of operational tasks (ensuring transparent and optimized order, production, and delivery planning; inventory-optimized procurement management; demand-oriented procurement strategies)
• Ensuring process development, including certifications according to relevant standards

Head of Supply Chain Management

• Own our end-to-end supply chain, including forecasting, ordering, stock management, international shipping, distribution, import, and customs.
• Oversee our 3PL partner in Vienna and ensure warehouse operations run smoothly.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with our main production partners in Thailand and Italy.
• Collaborate closely with our design team to bring new products to life, oversee packaging coordination.
• Lead our Customer Excellence team and shape how we show up for our customers at every touchpoint.
• Track and optimize key department KPIs (return rates, on-time delivery, quality, efficiency, budget).
• Partner with marketing, design, finance, and retail to optimize the end-to-end customer journey.

Operations & Supply Chain Lead

• Rotate through different areas to gain experience and understanding of Octapharma Clinical R&D
• Support the planning and coordination of Investigational Medicinal Product (IMP) distribution to clinical sites and depots in collaboration with Quality, Logistics, and study teams
• Enter, track, and monitor clinical orders and shipments in relevant systems to ensure timely supply
• Assist in managing clinical inventory, including stock levels, expiry dates, and reconciliation activities
• Contribute to the evaluation and documentation of deviations (e.g., temperature excursions) during storage and distribution
• Support forecasting activities by collecting and consolidating demand information and communicating updates to planning teams
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to set up and maintain clinical supply plans aligned with study requirements
• Assist in preparing and maintaining clinical trial and supply-related documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., eTMF, FDA, ICH-GCP)
• Contribute to continuous improvement of supply chain processes and support ongoing clinical projects
