About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Overall responsibility and management of the development of the logistics site, including technical and disciplinary leadership of approximately 10 employees.
Identification of optimization potentials and development of logistics strategies, as well as efficient planning, continuous improvement and control of warehouse processes.
Analysis of complex challenges and situations in the logistics context and derivation and implementation of effective countermeasures.
Driving innovation at the logistics site and delighting customers through excellent, lean and efficient processes.
Ensuring operational success through efficient operating procedures and coordination of measures to achieve targets.
Ensuring cross-departmental collaboration and close alignment with management, particularly with regard to operational requirements.
Regular support and direct customer contact with key accounts.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed training with a focus on logistics (e.g., apprenticeship, commercial school, technical college or equivalent) – practical experience is decisive.
Several years of professional experience in warehouse or transport logistics.
Initial leadership experience an advantage – alternatively willingness to take the next step into team leadership.
Good user knowledge of MS Office and confident handling of ERP systems.
Clear communication, strong personal responsibility and enjoyment of working in a team to achieve shared goals.
