Security Engineer

• Evaluate effective of controls and escalate as appropriate.
• Support the identification and quantification/qualification of risks with Threat and Vulnerability Management, Vulnerability SDLC, Zero Trust, or the Network Cybersecurity segment(s)
• Manage the governance of issues through their lifecycle, from ideation to validation and subsequent closure
• Execute risk assessments against defined scopes and planned initiatives in alignment with our enterprise risk management frameworks
• Support executive reporting on the health and status of our risk, issues, and control portfolio
• Act as a trusted advisor to your customer, helping work through ambiguity and providing a risk perspective to new challenges or opportunities

Cybersecurity Risk Manager

• Support security control assessment activities
• Gather and organize assessment evidence
• Document security control implementation
• Conduct security testing and evaluations
• Assist with vulnerability scans and analysis
• Create of assessment reports and briefings
• Maintain assessment documentation and tracking sheets
• Lead security control interviews
• Prepare assessment deliverables
• Applying NIST security controls and frameworks
• Support continuous monitoring activities
• Assist with security documentation review
• Contribute to Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) development
• Participate in team meetings and technical discussions

Security Control Assessor

• Provide technical input into the design, deployment and operation of global IT Security management software and hardware devices.
• Perform security tool system administration, including applying updates and patches.
• Review existing applications periodically as well as new applications prior to installation to ensure adherence to security policies and industry best practices.
• Proactively engage in discussions with IT operational teams to maintain and improve security posture.
• Work to resolve security issues or incidents.
• Perform applicable testing and investigations related to Information Security, Identify Access Management or Threat and Vulnerability Management.
• Develop, revise and maintain relevant Standard Operating Procedures and Working Instructions related to IT Security and engineering with a focus on ongoing improvement.

• Lead onboarding and migration of applications onto Akamai CDN and WAF platforms.
• Configure, maintain, and support Akamai edge security and content delivery services.
• Implement and tune WAF policies, security controls, caching rules, and traffic management configurations.
• Work closely with application, network, cloud, and security teams to ensure secure and optimized application delivery.
• Troubleshoot complex Layer 1–7 issues involving DNS, TLS/SSL, HTTP/HTTPS, CDN behavior, caching, and origin connectivity.
• Support production incidents, root cause analysis, and operational escalations.
• Participate in on-call rotation and support maintenance activities during off-hour change windows.
• Develop technical documentation, runbooks, operational procedures, and audit artifacts.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders on application onboarding and security initiatives.
• Support security assessments, audits, remediation activities, and compliance requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineering teams.

WAF/CDN Security Architect

• Guards, patrols, and polices industrial premises to protect property and personnel against fire, theft, vandalism, illegal entry, and other hazards
• Periodically tours premises; examines doors, windows, and gates to determine that they are secure; observes departing personnel to guard against thefts of company property
• Inspects equipment and stores to ascertain if tampering has occurred; reports irregularities; sounds alarm; and permits authorized persons to enter property
• Examines credentials of persons desiring entrance to restricted areas
• May be required to direct traffic on company premises
• May use force of arms to carry out assignments as required and detain persons committing illegal acts

Security Officer

• Drive end to end execution of security assessments that include: Creating assessment questionnaires
• Conduct kickoffs, review assessment responses, and identify risks/control gaps from a risk management perspective
• Perform risk scoring exercise and maintain risks in the risk register
• Track implementation (and adherence) of security requirements across engineering groups/teams
• Collaborate with partner teams to build continuous monitoring capabilities/reports for security requirements
• Validate compliance to security requirements and drive compliance sign off process for upcoming releases
• Coordinate with partner teams on security scope and finalize implementation requirements
• Support strategy and roadmap development for existing and emerging cybersecurity certification and/or regulatory requirements for internal/external audit needs
• Support risk management process enhancements
• Support the development and ongoing maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Work with assigned groups to ensure security compliance
• Create and maintain risk dashboards using Power BI or similar tools and report to leadership
• Socialize risks/control gaps with service owners
• Support certification and audit preparation efforts for internal and external regulatory requirements.
• Drive execution of Security Compliance frameworks (NIST, SDLC, etc.)
