• The Director, Corporate Governance provides strategic leadership and oversight of the company’s corporate governance operations
• Responsible for maturing the governance framework, advising on governance issues, preparing board materials, subsidiary management, and ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and organizational strategy
• Partners closely with senior executives, the Corporate Secretary, and board members

Director of Safety and Risk Management

• Own strategy and execution across multiple fraud domains – including ACH, Check Deposits, Checkbooks, RTP, onboarding, and ATO – with a bias toward action and a high bar for results
• Drive Mercury’s Personal Banking fraud program build-out, applying consumer fintech expertise to design controls and strategies tailored to consumer account holders
• Use data and quantitative analysis to design fraud controls, mitigate risk, and improve customer experience while balancing trade-offs
• Partner with Compliance and Legal to ensure solutions align with regulatory requirements
• Lead cross-functional efforts with Product, Engineering, and Operations to design and implement scalable risk solutions

Senior Risk Strategist – Fraud

• Assist with the Firm’s conflict clearing and client acceptance process
• Review proposed engagements across various service lines to assess potential conflicts
• Conduct database research for new projects to identify potential conflicts
• Facilitate the resolution of any potential conflicts
• Ensure data integrity within the conflict check database and client intake system
• Support and assist with strategic projects, including enhancing technology related to conflict check system

Analyst, Risk Management

• Identify emerging risks and evaluate impacts for Oregon’s submerged and submersible lands
• Provide data-driven insights and evidence-based recommendations for land management decisions
• Conduct comprehensive financial, environmental, and operational risk assessments
• Communicate risk analysis findings to internal and external parties

Waterways Stewardship Risk Analyst

• Serve as Department in-house analyst regarding liabilities related to authorized and unauthorized uses of state-owned submerged and submersible land.
• Provide support for the review of applications for renewals, assignments, and modifications of authorizations from a risk-analysis perspective.
• Communicate risk analysis findings to internal and external interested parties in clear, accessible language to explain authorization decisions and support public transparency.
• Conduct comprehensive financial, environmental, and operational risk assessments for both proposed uses of Oregon-owned waterways, including leases, easements, and other authorizations, and unauthorized uses.
• Integrate risk assessment into policy development, program planning, and authorization processes and develop tools to assist staff in determining financial assurance requirements for DSL authorizations.
• Review and propose updates to DSL practices, procedures, authorization templates, and rules in collaboration with DSL and DOJ (Department of Justice) employees.
• Represent agency, arrange for, prepare and conduct public meetings and hearings as necessary and report key outcomes to Department staff and DOJ.
• Oversee the administrative processes and tasks associated with enforcement actions, legal proceedings, and cost recovery efforts related to non-compliance with waterway use rules and lease agreements.

• Provide regional oversight of RMP and PSM program execution across assigned facilities.

• Interacts with various business data owners, data production system staff, data analysts, and decision makers to develop and implement proactive data quality practices.
• Responsible for developing processes for improving overall data governance initiatives, establishing a foundation for common definitions, terminologies, and appropriate data usage.
• Engages in identifying and realizing new opportunities that improve business operations within the Enterprise Data Intelligence.
