QA Engineer

• Provide proactive quality presence on the shopfloor to ensure uninterrupted, compliant manufacturing operations and meeting adherence to schedule
• Act as the primary QA point of contact for production teams enabling fast, informed decision-making and real-time issue resolution
• Ensure seamless QA support by coordinating across QA functions to deliver consistent, and efficient quality support to manufacturing and support preparing quality rated answers for customer requests
• Enforce strict adherence to internal procedures and GxP requirements supporting right-first-time execution and minimizing delays
• Support investigations into deviations and non-conformances, ensuring robust root cause analysis, effective CAPA implementation, and timely closure
• Accelerate by facilitating rapid assessments and ensuring high-quality documentation of quality-related matters
• Represent QA in daily and weekly shop floor meetings, addressing quality risks and promoting a solutions-oriented mindset
• Lead and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance quality performance, reduce waste, and increase operational efficiency
• Foster a culture of ownership and accountability on the shopfloor, where quality, accountability, and continuous improvement is seen as an enabler

QA Shopfloor Manager

• Perform manual QA on various websites, including web3 dapps.
• Understand and improve our automated testing systems, identify failure reasons, and report them for efficient triaging.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure new changes do not impact existing functionality.
• Collaborate with the DevOps team to identify and report infrastructure-based issues.
• Work closely with designers to identify and resolve discrepancies between designs and code.
• Triage and prioritize bugs reported by external parties.
• Oversee the merging and deployment of software releases.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the application and its features.
• Report UX pain points and suggest areas for improvement.

• FSQA Compliance & Monitoring (40%) - Track supplier compliance with Yum! and KFC CEE standards; support continuous improvement projects; facilitate supplier onboarding and approval processes.
• Audit & Certification Support (20%) - Track GFSI certification status; support franchisees and suppliers in achieving certifications; assist in executing Yum! Quality System Audits and corrective actions.
• Sustainability & Ethical Compliance (20%) - Monitor ESG Targets, animal welfare audits, and Sedex compliance; track responsible sourcing of packaging and ingredients.
• Regulatory Compliance (10%) - Support horizon scanning for regulatory changes; support markets to ensure compliance with EU, Swiss, and national laws.
• Data & Systems Management (10%) - Maintain Approved Product and Supplier Lists; Support specification, harmonisation and SKU rationalisation.
• Reports to KFC CEE FSQA Manager & Sustainability Lead. Works closely with KFC CEE and Yum! Supply chain teams, Ops, FIT, Marketing Managers. Regular interaction with franchisee QA teams, suppliers, distributors, and other Yum! Brands QA Teams (KFC Pan-Europe, Pizza Hut, Tacobell, Yum! Global FSQA).

FSQA Analyst

• Represent QA in product-related projects at the Bubendorf site
• Assess and make decisions on QA-relevant topics within individual projects
• Coordinate project-specific tasks within QA departments and act as a key contact for other departments (e.g., Production, Quality Control, Project Management) regarding cGMP compliance and troubleshooting
• Define control strategies and overall lifecycle strategies from GMP development through process validation to support commercial manufacturing
• Review and approve GMP documents, changes, deviation reports, and CAPAs
• Serve as the contact point for internal and external stakeholders on QA-related matters and represent QA in meetings between Bachem and clients.
