Public Relations

• Serve as an operational lead across multiple PR initiatives, ensuring projects remain on track from planning through execution
• Translate meetings, discussions, and stakeholder feedback into actionable project plans with clear owners and timelines
• Anticipate risks, bottlenecks, and resource gaps, proactively escalating concerns and proposing solutions
• Review deliverables and identify inconsistencies, errors, or opportunities for improvement before stakeholder review
• Apply brand guidelines and campaign objectives to ensure work meets quality standards
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows, communication processes, and team efficiency
• Drive accountability across stakeholders to ensure commitments are completed and projects continue moving forward
• Provide day-to-day project management support to the PR Managers and Head of PR + Influence
• Own and maintain project timelines, workbacks, trackers, status reports, and action plans across multiple concurrent initiatives
• Coordinate cross-functional deliverables to ensure projects remain on schedule and stakeholders remain aligned
• Own meeting documentation and follow-up, translating discussions into actionable next steps with clear ownership and timelines
• Support campaign planning and brainstorming sessions, documenting recommendations, requirements, and project deliverables
• Build and maintain project trackers, contact databases, asset repositories, and reporting dashboards
• Assist in preparing, routing, and tracking approvals for messaging documents, media materials, and campaign assets
• Maintain visibility across all active workstreams and proactively communicate status updates, risks, and dependencies
• If local: Provide in-person event support for NYC-based activations, press events, agency meetings, and brand experiences
• Manage end-to-end product seeding programs, including inventory coordination, shipment tracking, reporting, and stakeholder communication
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure activation and seeding efforts align with broader campaign priorities
• Partner directly with agency teams, serving as a key point of coordination for project communications, asset routing, timelines, and feedback management
• Track earned media performance and campaign KPIs across PR initiatives
• Compile reporting, media coverage, insights, and campaign highlights for internal and client-facing presentations
• Support post-campaign recaps by documenting key learnings, performance outcomes, and recommendations

Public Relations Operations Manager – Contract

• Working closely with the Sr. Director of Public Relations and Sr. Manager of Public Relations, support the health and performance of BOLD’s overall PR program
• Be responsible for directing the PR content calendar for specific brands, focusing specifically on growing brands’ earned media wins
• Write, edit, and pitch press releases and other content to external audiences, ghostwriting for spokesperson when necessary
• Develop and foster relationships with key reporters to support earned media coverage, responding to inbound press inquiries and helping coordinate media interviews as needed
• Build BOLD brands’ reputations as critical players in the resume and career advice space
• Collaborate across PR, content, social media, and career experts in order to generate ideas and identify opportunities to innovate and better engage with target audiences
• Help draft internally-run surveys, and then analyze and share findings with the press

Public Relations Specialist

• Develop, refine, and present strategic communications plans aligned with business objectives
• Execute integrated PR strategies for B2B clients across earned and owned channels, from media outreach and press releases to bylines, analyst briefings, and award submissions
• Build and maintain strong media relationships across trade, business, and tech press relevant to our clients' ICPs
• Craft compelling narratives and pitches that earn meaningful coverage in the publications that matter to B2B buyers
• Support executive positioning programs including media training, thought leadership content, podcast placements, speaking opportunities, and bylined articles
• Assist in influencer and practitioner briefing programs, including analyst relations and ICP-aligned creator partnerships
• Contribute to organic social strategy and content as an extension of integrated communications programs, where relevant
• Utilize media and social monitoring tools to track trends, identify emerging issues, and uncover opportunities.
• Track, measure, and report on program performance against defined KPIs, tying PR activity to real business outcomes like share of voice and pipeline influence
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other Directive service lines to ensure communications programs connect to broader client strategy
• Contribute to new business proposals and client presentations as a subject matter expert

PR & Communications Manager

• Design, maintain, and execute integrated regional communication plans aligned to APM Terminals’ global communication, marketing, and branding framework
• Lead media relations across top‑tier business and trade outlets, managing proactive and reactive engagement, press materials, executive briefings, and terminal tours
• Develop and activate marketing communications campaigns supporting commercial objectives, including customer acquisition, carrier positioning, and rail service expansion
• Translate sustainability and decarbonization initiatives into credible, evidence‑based external narratives anchored to verified data
• Provide executive communication support, including speaker preparation, talking points, message maps, and Q&A frameworks for senior leaders
• Develop and manage internal communication platforms and tools across terminals, enabling effective cascade, engagement, and self‑service communications
• Manage confidential, issues, and crisis communications in close coordination with Public Affairs, terminal leadership, and global communications teams
