Proposal Manager

• Support proposal managers as needed, including attendance at scheduled kick-off, review, and other pursuit meetings; attending meetings to document action items and larger strategy discussions; issuing subconsultant data calls; and managing received information.
• Complete the corporate forms required in the proposal submission.
• Provide responses to data calls from teaming partners.
• Work with technical writers to maintain toolkit content (resumes, project descriptions, boilerplate text, etc.)
• Maintain and archive image/graphic libraries through OpenAsset
• Coordinate hard copy production and shipment of final submittal, as needed
• Maintain client database through designated tools.
• Maintain consistency and storage of information

Proposal Coordinator I

• Build a proposal management practice that helps Nava increase proposal quality and in support of Nava's growth goals
• Lead Nava Client Solutions Managers, Subject Matter Experts and reviewers through well-structured proposal efforts; effectively engage Nava leadership (Contracts, Staffing, etc) and teaming partners at the right times with the right information
• Author proposal content such as descriptions Nava's past performance and capabilities
• Manage concurrent proposal efforts without sacrificing clarity or quality
• Develop and support a compliance checklist for each opportunity, including evaluation criteria, required forms and contractual documents
• Curate, organize and and build 'evergreen' content that speaks to Nava's capabilities, projects and modern practices

Principal Proposal Manager

• Provide ownership of assigned RFP responses for Space and Intel product lines, exercising independent judgment in interpreting requirements, defining proposal strategy, facilitating cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring compliance with internal and customer standards.
• Lead and moderate proposal kickoff and solutioning sessions, establishing direction, scope, and task assignments for Program Management, Engineering, and other required functions.
• Develop and oversee pricing strategy, cost models, and volume narratives, ensuring alignment with business objectives, customer requirements, and competitive positioning.
• Integrate, evaluate, and synthesize inputs from multiple functional partners into a complete, compliant Proposal Package; ensure necessary leadership reviews and approvals are obtained in accordance with internal policy.
• Prepare, certify, and submit Current, Accurate, and Complete proposals requiring Certified Cost and Pricing Data; exercise professional expertise in compliance with FAR, DFARS, and company estimating standards.
• Represent the proposal function in internal and external audits, providing authoritative responses, supporting documentation, and subject matter insights.
• For remote employees, quarterly travel to the San Diego office is required to support onsite team meetings, engagement activities, and collaborative proposal planning.

Senior Associate, Proposal Management

• Works directly with Sales on developing/partnership proposals for prospective clients
• Supports sales efforts including collateral development, research, and/or meeting preparation and follow-up
• Provides strategic support to Sales on phases of the sales cycle
• Serves as a liaison to develop combined sales strategy with other departments and/or companies
• Manages all sales documentation and deliverables
• Provides updates/reports of prospects to Senior Management

• Support the proposal managers through coordinating the proposal development process.
• Support the creation of RFIs/SSNs, task orders, IDIQ proposals, Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) requests, and other stand-alone proposals that may range from $5M-$150M in value
• Ensure adherence to proposal development preparation guidelines, processes, methodologies, and associated business tools
• Analyze requirements and ensures that proposals meet requirements by creating and maintaining compliance matrix documents.
• Edit, standardize, proofread, or make updates to material prepared by other writers; eliminates inconsistencies in format or voice, typos, and grammatical and spelling mistakes
• Build proposal outlines, creates folder structures, maintains proposal log, trackers, and oversees creation of proposal templates
• Develop effective methods for presenting and organizing information within proposals, such as the use of tables and graphics
• Coordinate proposal layout and outlines with SMEs and technical writers
• Maintains records and files of work and revisions
• Organize and attends proposal kickoff, drumbeat, color review, and gate review meetings
• Assist with the production, reproduction, and binding/packaging of draft proposals, final proposals, and all hard/soft copies
• Organize material and completes writing assignments according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology
• Ensure proposals are delivered on time and in compliance with all RFP requirements
• Performs other duties as required.
