Paralegal

• Communicate professionally, productively, and efficiently with clients, contacts, attorneys, other paralegals, and all other professional staff
• Assist attorneys in drafting pleadings, performing factual and legal research, reviewing, and analyzing documents, and supporting preparations for hearings, depositions, and mediations
• Review, gather, and organize client documents from production to discovery
• Research, organize and summarize records, as needed, to assist in data gathering, including organizing of information and documents in databases
• Assist with preparing discovery requests and responses
• Assist in trial preparation, including drafting pre-trial pleadings, preparing exhibits, coordinating witnesses and requests with outside vendors, and live trial support

• Provide litigation or transactional support under minimal supervision

Paralegal III

• Support attorneys in all phases of New Jersey family law matters, including divorce, custody, support, alimony, equitable distribution, domestic violence, mediation, and related cases.
• Draft pleadings, correspondence, subpoenas, interrogatories, affidavits, motions, and other family law documents.
• Prepare cases for hearings, mediation, settlement conferences, and trial, including exhibits, witness coordination, deadlines, and logistics.
• File court documents through New Jersey e-filing systems and maintain accurate, organized case files.
• Manage attorney calendars, court dates, client meetings, deadlines, and case follow-ups.
• Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and internal team members.
• Assist with Case Information Statements and financial discovery materials.
• Keep electronic and paper files organized, current, and easy for the legal team to access.
• Help deliver a calm, responsive, and positive client experience during sensitive family law matters.

Family Law Paralegal

• Provide comprehensive paralegal support for contract management, documentation, and contract redlining
• Manage contract documentation and legal records while maintaining confidentiality and compliance requirements
• Review and redline high-volume Multi-Dwelling Units and Telecommunications agreements
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate legal document workflows
• Prepare detailed summaries of contracts and legal documents for attorney review
• Process incoming legal notices and coordinate responses with appropriate internal stakeholders
• Draft routine legal correspondence and basic contract modifications using approved templates
• Support contract compliance monitoring by tracking key dates and obligations

Paralegal 3, Contract Support

• Manage a personal injury caseload in partnership with the assigned attorney
• Support cases involving motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, and other plaintiff PI matters
• Track deadlines, case progress, medical records, PIP issues, and documentation needs
• Communicate with clients, medical providers, insurance carriers, and internal team members
• Prepare and organize case materials for attorney review, demand packages, and litigation needs
• Help keep cases moving efficiently from intake through resolution

Personal Injury Paralegal

• Provide support in broad range of internal and external legal matters, disputes, and investigations, including monitoring litigation activity and deadlines; interfacing with external counsel and internal business and HR partners; arranging/attending witness interviews; preparing and managing document productions; issuing and managing preservation notices; processing settlements; and engaging with expert witnesses, eDiscovery providers and other external vendors/parties.
• Litigation forums include mediation, arbitration and court proceedings.
• Prepare timely responses to subpoenas and other requests for employment records under attorney supervision.
• Prepare case summaries and chronologies to assist in litigation and investigation matters.
• Prepare and manage RFP responses and internal reports, including monthly/quarterly reports for senior business and legal leadership on significant matters, claims, contingencies, and other evolving topics.
• Update employee benefit, executive compensation and incentive plans, summary plan descriptions and related documents; draft and revise templates and form letters.
• Monitoring state and local employment law developments that impact the organization.
• Exercise independent judgment on matter preparation and initiate contact with internal clients, attorneys, and other involved parties.
• Accept receipt of service of process and direct to appropriate internal stakeholders.
• Provide administrative support as needed.

Paralegal, Litigation & Employment

• Provide assistance to attorneys in fact investigation, witness interviews, drafting pleadings and correspondence, legal research, document preparation and production, database management, docketing/case management, and overall client service.
• Prepare materials for and assist in preparation for depositions, hearings, and trials and related proceedings, and attend same if needed.
• Pre-trial preparation and trial attendance.
• Prepare draft pleadings and discovery.
• Coordinate filing of pleadings/documents and arrange for service.

• Attend and participate in in-house CLEs.
• Mentor Paralegal Assistants.
• Anticipate attorney needs.
• Independently handle all key duties without supervision of another Paralegal or Senior Paralegal.
• Meet billable hour requirement of 1500 hours per year.

Mass Tort Paralegal, California

• The Trademark Senior Paralegal supports Walmart’s global trademark and copyright portfolios by maintaining dockets, monitoring deadlines, and ensuring compliance with U.S. and foreign formality requirements.
• Collaborate with and assist trademark attorneys, outside counsel, and business clients, with trademark-related inquiries and generate dashboards and reports to track internal trademark statistics using Anaqua.
• Support a global trademark portfolio by applying expert knowledge and understanding of U.S. and foreign trademark filing and prosecution practices and trademark formalities.
• Coordinate, support, and supervise outside counsel during all stages of trademark review, clearance, and opinion work, including trademark filing, prosecution, and renewals, managing of deadlines and facilitating signing and filing of documents.
• Manage and maintain an internal trademark database, ensure data quality, and generate dashboards and reports to track relevant trademark statistics and metrics.
• Establish and maintain internal best practices and procedures to support the company’s trademark program, including keeping and updating process documents and outside counsel guidelines.
• Assist trademark attorneys on all matters related to trademarks and copyright.
• Respond to routine business inquiries related to trademark and copyright matters.
• Develop and conduct training for business teams and other internal groups.
