About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- be part of a centralized team supporting Litigation, Regulatory, and Employment attorneys across a broad range of matters
- responsibilities will include matter intake and assessment, research, document collection and organization, discovery support, and matter tracking throughout the lifecycle of a case
- regularly interact with internal business partners to gather information and support legal requests
- assess new matters, summarize key facts and issues, manage competing priorities, and proactively identify what additional information or support may help attorneys effectively evaluate and defend matters
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree required; paralegal certification a plus
- 10 years of relevant paralegal experience
- Experience supporting litigation, regulatory, employment, or complex legal matters
- Strong judgment and critical thinking, including the ability to assess and summarize new matters
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to follow detailed processes while recognizing and escalating issues as appropriate
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across legal teams and business partners
- Experience with discovery tools and document management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
