• Own the newsletter publishing end-to-end, releasing articles at a weekly cadence

• Collaborate with team members for story approval and revisions
• Ensure clarity and accessibility in writing while maintaining style
• Work with the team for newsletter distribution

Newsletter Editor

• Lead the editing and proofreading of medical and commercial communications
• Apply deep medical and scientific expertise to refine content and enhance readability
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Medical, Client Services, Design, and Project Management teams
• Conduct rigorous fact-checking and source verification to maintain scientific integrity
• Implement AI-driven editing best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy in content review
• Stay informed on industry trends, guidelines, and best practices, advocating for editorial excellence

Senior Medical Editor

• As the Junior Editor, you will be responsible for running, maintaining, and improving a suite of editorial tools that are crucial in maintaining the high standards of the novels we publish.
• Your primary responsibilities will be to run editing tools on manuscripts and to review manuscripts to ensure they meet our quality criteria.
• Collaborate with the Content Team to support overall editorial processes.
• Provide detailed feedback and suggestions for improvements to editing tools.
• Ability to perform quick-turnaround copyedits, line edits, proofreading, and beta-reading as needed.

Junior Editor

• Your task includes editing mainly casino content as well as sports betting articles.
• The editor needs to be aware of the regulations applied in different states such as Illinois, New Jersey, New York, etc.
• You will be in touch with a project manager who will provide guidelines and support through the process.

Experienced English Editor, iGaming

• Review and edit a variety of documents, including reports, proposals, presentations, and marketing materials
• Check for spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors
• Ensure consistency in formatting, style, and tone
• Verify facts, statistics, and references
• Collaborate with writers, editors, and designers to make necessary changes
• Follow company style guidelines and ensure documents adhere to industry standards
• Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality work
• Provide feedback and suggestions for improvement to the content team

Proofreader

• Content creation: Consistently produce a demanding volume of deeply researched, fact checked, investigative and journalistic content about the trends, characters, companies, products, and media narratives at the broad intersection of tech, politics, and culture.
• Assist EIC and senior editorial staff in writing and producing (potentially multiple) newsletters on strict deadlines.
• Content Oversight: Manage and oversee the production of contributor content.
• Ensure all content meets the company's standards for quality, accuracy, and voice.
• Develop a stable of freelance contributors who you can hit up to get quick-turnaround pieces on current topics published and distributed.
• Content Planning & Strategy: Work closely with the Editor-in-Chief and other vertical editors to shape the editorial calendar, planning content that aligns with industry events, trends, and Pirate Wires' objectives.
• Quality control: Edit all pieces to ensure all content – whether in-house or from contributors – adheres to Pirate Wires' standards and editorial guidelines.
• Analytics & Performance: Review content performance, using insights to inform future content decisions and strategies.

Managing Editor

• Consistently produce a demanding volume of deeply researched, fact checked, investigative and journalistic content about the trends, characters, companies, products, and media narratives in tech.
• Develop a stable of sources inside tech companies.
• Assist EIC in writing and producing (potentially multiple) tech newsletters on strict deadlines.
• Manage and oversee the production of tech related contributor content.
• Ensure all content meets the company's standards for quality, accuracy, and voice.
• Develop a stable of freelance contributors who you can hit up to get quick-turnaround pieces on current topics published and distributed.
• Review and edit articles for clarity, accuracy, and cohesion. Ensure content adheres to style guides and best practices.

Tech Editor

• Edit a wide variety of video content, primarily launch films/commercials, as well as product videos, testimonials, mini-docs, and social cutdowns.
• Translate creative direction and scripts into compelling cuts that hit the intended tone, pacing, and story
• Partner closely with directors and creative leads from selects through picture lock, iterating quickly on feedback
• Handle sound design and basic mix work, including music selection, SFX, and dialogue cleanup
• Color grade footage to match the look and feel of each project.
• Create simple motion graphics, lower thirds, titles, and basic VFX as needed
• Organize and maintain project files, media, and version control across multiple active projects
• Manage your own timelines and flag risks early when scope, footage, or schedule shifts
• Support delivery and asset prep for final handoff, including different cuts, aspect ratios, and platform specs
• Stay current on editing trends, techniques, and tools that can elevate our work

• Edit and produce short-form video ads optimized for TikTok, Instagram, and Meta
• Conceptualize and execute new creative ideas that align with Triumph’s brand and growth goals
• Highlight key app features, gameplay moments, and winning experiences in an exciting, attention-grabbing way
• Continuously test and iterate ad variations to maximize performance metrics like CTR, installs, and deposits
• Collaborate with marketing and data teams to analyze ad performance and implement insights into future edits
• Maintain a fast-paced workflow while balancing creativity with data-driven decision making
• Stay on top of creative trends in mobile gaming, user acquisition, and digital storytelling
