About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage day-to-day operations of East Bay Division
- Produce daily Express newsletter for each site
- Support the Editorial Director in publishing the weekly newspaper
- Be a face for the news brands in the community
- Attend community events and represent the organization when necessary
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3-5 years of experience in daily journalism
- Bachelor's degree or higher in journalism or related field
- Knowledge of Google, Adobe and Microsoft tools
- Familiarity with WordPress platform preferred
- Understanding of issues of the Tri-Valley, Alameda County and Contra Costa County preferred.
