Designer

• Support the Store Design and Visual Merchandising team by documenting showroom vignettes and display concepts across all Waterworks categories
• Create CAD elevations and product schedules for new projects under the direction of the Store Design team
• Organize and maintain accurate documentation of showroom products, including floor plans, elevations and product schedules
• Verify execution of design initiatives and maintain a comprehensive photo library of installations
• Partner with the Construction team to develop scopes of work for product additions and removals in showrooms
• Enter and update product orders as needed to support Construction
• Collaborate with the Marketing team to identify signage needs and review files for accuracy prior to production
• Manage incoming display and workflow requests from showrooms
• Additional duties as assigned

Store Design Coordinator

• Collaborate closely with VA stakeholders to deeply understand and document their experiences, and visually translate those findings onto service blueprints, ecosystem maps, journey maps, and other design artifacts.
• Implement mixed-method discovery approaches that uncover deep insights about the interactions between systems, business processes, and people.
• Lead the co-design and iteration of low and high-fidelity service design artifacts to validate assumptions, uncover pain points, and identify opportunities that resonate with VA staff.
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, data engineers and other service designers to ensure the accurate and timely application of knowledge onto downstream deliverables.
• Create and nurture relationships with stakeholders across the product ecosystem, proactively engaging impacted stakeholders to validate assumptions, socialize insights, and facilitate sensemaking.
• Engage peers within the government ecosystem to proactively and collaboratively problem solve issues that impact our ability to deliver desired outcomes.

Service Designer

• Design and develop engaging, high-impact learning programs—not just individual courses
• Create content for new volunteer onboarding and ongoing education
• Apply adult learning principles to create meaningful, memorable learning experiences
• Develop structured learning journeys, assignments, and certification pathways
• Continuously improve content through iteration, feedback, and evolving needs
• Conduct learning needs analyses to inform program design
• Define success metrics and evaluate learning effectiveness
• Design assessments (formative and summative) that measure competency and readiness
• Build scalable frameworks, templates, and standards for learning design
• Play a key role in LMS migration and optimization
• Design learning experiences directly within LMS platforms
• Ensure content is accessible, well-structured, and scalable
• Collaborate closely with clinical, learning & engagement, and subject matter expert teams
• Translate complex or sensitive content into clear, engaging learning experiences
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to design and deliver programs
• Manage projects end-to-end, including timelines, milestones, and communication

Learning Designer

• Own and improve core system infrastructure including repositories, publishing workflows, and component playgrounds/environments (e.g., Storybook or equivalent)
• Evolve token workflows (semantic and primitive), theming strategies, and reliable distribution of tokens into product codebases
• Reduce system drift by strengthening design-to-code feedback loops, improving contribution workflows, and embedding guardrails where work happens
• Contribute to component implementations with an emphasis on maintainable patterns, scalable architecture, accessibility defaults, and cross-platform consistency
• Build internal tools that enable faster, more consistent delivery: Figma plugins/scripts, generators/scaffolding for system-aligned components, and PR/CI checks, lint rules, and automated quality gates
• Model system guidance in structured, reusable formats (rules, constraints, mappings, examples) to power checks, in-tool guidance, and automation
• Instrument and iterate: measure adoption and quality, identify recurring sources of rework, and evolve tooling and standards based on real-world usage
• Use AI-assisted workflows to accelerate audits, migrations, and repetitive tasks (e.g., script generation, change summaries, automated fixes) with strong review, security, and quality practices

Senior Designer Technologist, Design Systems

• Assist with the planning function and performance for all assigned circuits.
• Assist in identifying benefits from individual projects and predicted desired outcomes.
• Provide engineering support for specific projects.
• Assist with engineering resolutions for multiple outages in the Distribution System.
• Create field work in current work management system.
• Assist DDE/Lead with developing recommendations on equipment replacement vs repair to maximize Return on Asset (ROA).
• Participate during major restoration efforts including Emergency Preparedness.
• Provide reports as required.
• Work with DDE/Lead in the development of distribution projects.

Distribution Design Associate Engineer

• Assist with the planning function and performance for all assigned circuits.
• Assist in identifying benefits from individual projects and predicted desired outcomes.
• Provide engineering support for specific projects.
• Assist with engineering resolutions for multiple outages in the Distribution System.
• Create field work in current work management system.
• Assist DDE/Lead until proficient in support of the following: EMF communications and/or measurements for customers.
• Real Estate Department and Customer to negotiate easements as required.
• Account Executives with customer quality of service issues.
• Operations with distribution issues.
• This includes review switching, develop contingency plans, prioritizing work, monitoring yellow tags, etc.
• Engineering support to Field Engineering Design P&CE on developing Recloser and Breaker settings.
• Considers safety in all circuit analysis.
• Makes direct contact with customer and develop corrective actions.
• Provide regulator and capacitor control settings for Electrical Maintenance.
• Assist in outage, voltage, and power quality investigations and will engineer corrective action to prevent reoccurrence.
• Provide reports as required.
• Works with DDE/Lead in the development of distribution projects and will be required to present to the Connecticut Project Authorization Committee CTPAC for approval.
• Evaluate proposed DG interconnection applications.
• Review and implement annual procedures, (e.g. TD941).
• Utilize electronic software tools to model and analyze the distribution system (SynerGee, PTI, USAmp, PI, Visio, etc.)
• Other related duties as assigned, including support to SOC.
• Will have nonexclusive, non-supervisory, storm restoration and emergency assignments.
