• Participate in suicide and crisis intervention training
• De-escalate individuals in crisis by using best practices in the field of suicidology, as well as empathy and good contact techniques
• Connect individuals in crisis to appropriate resources
• Maintain appropriate levels of boundaries and confidentiality/privacy with individuals in crisis

Student-Crisis Counselor

• Conduct phone interviews with prospective students
• Engage with students by phone, email, and other communication channels
• Present information about SNHU, program offerings, structure, accreditation, and cost
• Achieve the expected goals including Daily activity, Schedule Adherence, Call Outline Adherence
• Assist prospective students through the admission process
• Partner with departments outside of Admission

Admission Counselor

• Inbound and Outbound phone coverage
• Work with students and contacts according to SNHU's culture and brand behaviors to support the mission of the university
• Apply financial aid, billing and registrar policies to all student interactions
• Help students develop a financial strategy for their education and achieve their goal of graduation
• Provide excellent customer service to our online students over the phone (80%), by email (15%), and > 5% in person.
• Document student interactions in customer relationship manager
• Participate in daily outbound calling campaigns as assigned
• Partner with departments outside of Financial Aid including Admissions and Advising to ensure the delivery of a high level of service to every student
• Meet expectations for Monthly Metrics and call reviews

Finance Counselor I

• Face-to-face counseling to military service members and their families (individual, couples, family, and children).
• Recommending appropriate referrals and handoffs based on your experienced differential clinical skills to military and community resources according to the needs of military service members and their families.
• Offer presentations to address social skills development and social emotional learning that is crucial for childhood early development.
• Build rapport with service members, spouses, and children by attending installation and community events.
• Help families and children with challenges that are particular to the military community, transitions, reoccurring moves, frequent separations, deployments, and more.
