• Act as Avvoka's country manager in Manila, translating our culture into local values and ways of working that the team owns
• Build a strong, cohesive local team culture across engineering and document automation specialists
• Operate across altitudes - one moment on office strategy, the next on the detail of a single clause
• Interpret client drafts and precedent documents, making expert judgements on clause-level logic, optional provisions, and variable content
• Produce clear, structured markup in the department's standard format
• Shape questionnaire structure and questions for end users
• Join client calls to walk through source documents and clarify requirements
• Act as the reference point for markup interpretation for the QA and Template Developer teams
• Support in-house lawyer on people and commercial contract matters as they arise

Country Manager – Legal Tech

• Review, maintain, and update Practical Law content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment
• Adhere to editorial publishing schedules and quality standards
• Perform detailed editorial review work, including maintaining Practical Law documents
• Check and validate case and statute citation links
• Correct punctuation, style, grammar, and formatting
• Maintain and develop legal knowledge and editorial skills
• Participate in team meetings and the employee evaluation process
• Engage with AI and large language model (LLM) initiatives

Attorney Editor – Practical Law

• Review, edit, and finalize legal documents and briefs for submission
• Ensure compliance with applicable legal standards and court requirements
• Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to maintain consistency and quality in filings
• Provide insights and recommendations for case improvement where applicable

Bilingual SSDI Attorney – U.S. Bar Licensed

• Review, revise, and manage contracts relating to the U.S. operations.
• Provide compliance advice and support.
• Draft and maintain internal policies and procedures for U.S. operations.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with U.S. tax requirements.
• Oversee employment law compliance and HR legal matters in the Philippines.
• Manage business registration and regulatory filings for Philippines operations.
• Ensure tax compliance and proper reporting for Philippine corporate and employment taxes.
• Draft and maintain internal policies tailored to the Philippines business unit.
• Conduct internal investigations.
