About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Review, revise, and manage contracts relating to the U.S. operations.
Provide compliance advice and support.
Draft and maintain internal policies and procedures for U.S. operations.
Monitor and ensure compliance with U.S. tax requirements.
Oversee employment law compliance and HR legal matters in the Philippines.
Manage business registration and regulatory filings for Philippines operations.
Ensure tax compliance and proper reporting for Philippine corporate and employment taxes.
Draft and maintain internal policies tailored to the Philippines business unit.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Law degree and active license to practice in the Philippines.
Located in the Philippines with night shift work hours (to overlap with U.S. team).
Experience or formal education related to U.S. law is highly desirable.
Familiarity with U.S. tax, compliance, employment and/or business law preferred.
Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying and resolving legal issues.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with a remote U.S.-based team.
A commitment to ethical, mission-driven legal practice.
