• The Application Security Engineer is responsible for securing the software and applications that Credit Acceptance builds, buys, and operates.
• This role partners closely with engineering, product, architecture, and business teams to ensure that applications handling sensitive consumer, dealer, and loan data are designed, developed, and deployed in a secure manner.
• This position focuses on embedding security into the software development lifecycle by providing hands‑on technical guidance, performing threat modeling and application security reviews, defining secure design patterns and guardrails, and supporting engineering teams as they build and maintain modern web, mobile, API, and cloud‑based applications.

Application Security Engineer II

• Represent the Tech Platform in Vehicle Program forums, and represent the interests of Vehicle Programs in platform efforts

• Driving architecture and strategy changes through the cross-functional teams and throughout the lifecycle of the Programs

TPP Applications Engineer

• The Associate Applications Engineer, is responsible for assisting in the tasks of providing customer product application assistance, technical support, proposal drawings, special designs or modifications to existing products via phone or email including inside/outside sales and customer service.
• S/he works in conjunction with Application Engineers to provide customer assistance for product applications.
• For orders received, s/he would be responsible for supporting customer design reviews, creating and releasing designs to manufacturing and final product documentation under the guidance of an Applications Engineer.
• S/he possesses lower-level CAD experience and is on a path to complete proficiency.

Associate Applications Engineer

• Oversee the application of new and in-service products used by customers in the basic metals industry
• Plan field trials in conjunction with the Fuchs sales force and customer prior to product introduction, including the setting of trial protocols, measurement of performance and data collection over the course of the trial period
• Periodic measurement of product groups already in service and recommending improvements in product performance
• Lead field trials and technical evaluations for new and existing products, including troubleshooting performance issues and delivering clear, concise field reports
• Serve as the technical application expert for customers and internal teams by providing product recommendations, technical problem-solving, training, and application support
• Interface directly with customers to understand operational needs, support product approvals, strengthen long-term relationships, and demonstrate commitment to ongoing product development

• Manage product performance attributes and lifecycle management for new or existing products
