About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Architect and design technical solutions for new software applications utilizing Claude Code and agentic workflows
Evaluate legacy systems to determine capabilities and requirements for high-performance replacement applications
Code complex, integrated applications using Claude Code
Provide support, maintenance, and continuous improvement of AI-generated codebases
Triage/debug application performance, data handling, and security issues
Partner with business units to assess software needs and translate them into agentic prompt parameters
Develop new user interfaces, robust APIs, and web experiences optimized for cloud-native deployments
Document system architecture changes and successful agentic prompting patterns

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 10 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 13 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 15 years of professional experience
Minimum 7 years of professional experience in IT
Ability to quickly understand new software architectures and analyze systemic code challenges
Passionate about application security and secure coding guardrails
Organized, thorough, and detail-oriented
Collaborates well with others to solve complex software engineering problems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Working knowledge of modern data layers, cloud architectures, and API development paradigms
Experience deploying, scaling, and maintaining production software applications in an enterprise environment
