Engineer

• Lead the development of technical proposals for membrane filtration capital equipment, temporary water treatment systems, and partner-engineered solutions.
• Collaborate closely with sales and technology teams to understand customer requirements and with coordination with select components, size equipment, create drawings, estimate costs, write technical proposals, and make informed, balanced decisions around risk.
• Product management and development of standard designs, costing and proposal tools that are fit for the intended purpose and applications defined and commercially appropriate in specification and cost.
• Collaborate with strategic partners on detailed engineering and fabrication estimates.
• Partner with the sales team in the customer discovery process and evaluate commercial opportunities for technical feasibility and risk.
• Evaluate, mitigate, and communicate technical risks associated with new applications, projects, and/or partners.
• Interface and collaborate with engineering and field/services teams.
• Maintain accurate records of opportunities, quotes, projects, contacts, and correspondence in company CRM.
• Author technical guidance documents and give oral/written presentations to customers, industry partners, and ZwitterCo business leaders as needed.
• Maintain an adept understanding of product knowledge and application.
• Provide post-sales technical support for partners and end users to ensure customer success, including visits to customer sites.
• Provide mentorship to less experienced members of the commercial engineering team.
• Occasional travel as required.
• Other duties as reasonably assigned.
