About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead daily warehouse operations across receiving, putaway, replenishment, VAS, inventory control, picking, packing, and shipping for Ecommerce, B2B, and Retail Store channels
  • Oversee comprehensive returns processing and reverse logistics, ensuring that multi-channel returns are inspected, processed, and returned to stock with speed and accuracy to maximize inventory availability
  • Coordinate complex workflows to ensure consistent achievement of SLAs across all channels, from rapid D2C shipping windows to scheduled retail replenishment and B2B routing requirements
  • Ensure careful handling, storage, and documentation of high-value merchandise to protect product quality and maintain clear traceability
  • Build and adapt daily labor and workflow plans to match demand, resolve bottlenecks, and keep operations flowing smoothly
  • Maintain a calm, focused approach to decision-making in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with competing priorities
  • Drive "dock-to-stock" excellence and shipping readiness through clear standards and supportive floor leadership
  • Take ownership of KPI performance
  • Analyze trends, identify root causes, and implement solutions that deliver measurable, long-term improvements
  • Partner with the Senior Warehouse Operations Manager to review performance, set goals, and maintain a steady operating rhythm
  • Foster accountability through consistent coaching, constructive feedback, recognition, and performance support
  • Lead and mentor a multi-tiered team of managers, supervisors, and hourly associates, providing the hands-on support and guidance needed for collective success
  • Develop frontline leaders by setting clear expectations and providing the coaching needed to grow
  • Strengthen onboarding, cross-training, and standard work to ensure team performance is consistent and scalable
  • Promote a culture of safety, respect, and continuous improvement through high standards and strong team support
  • Utilize WMS and ERP systems (SAP) to plan work, manage inventory, and maintain real-time visibility into the operation
  • Maintain strong operational controls through accurate documentation and high standards for data and transaction accuracy
  • Apply Lean tools, including 5S and visual management boards, to reduce waste and increase daily throughput
  • Ensure SOPs and work instructions are current, accessible, and actively used to guide the team
  • Work closely with Customer Service, Supply Chain, Sales, Transportation, and IT to resolve order, inventory, and service challenges
  • Support seasonal readiness, promotional events, and peak planning with a proactive and collaborative mindset
  • Lead internal and external audits, cycle counts, and physical inventory events with precision and transparency
  • Communicate risks early with clear options and recommended actions to keep stakeholders informed
  • Promote a safety-first mindset and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and internal safety standards
  • Conduct routine inspections and lead safety meetings to share best practices and prevent incidents
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional warehouse environment aligned to best-in-class operating standards.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent extensive experience in warehouse operations and management
  • 5+ years of experience in a high-volume warehouse with a proven ability to manage seasonal peaks, product launches, and complex omni-channel fulfillment (D2C, B2B, and Retail Replenishment)
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with a passion for coaching, developing, and motivating diverse teams
  • Proficiency in WMS/ERP environments and Microsoft Office, with strong working knowledge of Excel
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and KPIs, leveraging labor planning and productivity programs to drive informed operational decisions
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across different departments and leadership levels
  • Proven ability to prioritize and stay effective under pressure to meet shared goals
  • Flexibility to accommodate weekend coverage and modified schedules during seasonal peaks and inventory events
