About the role
- Conceptualize, execute and analyze email campaigns (newsletters, trigger/transactional emails, promotions, etc.)
- Further develop automated customer journeys across the funnel (e.g., welcome series, cart abandonment, re‑engagement)
- Own performance KPIs such as open rates, clicks, conversions and unsubscribes
- Develop segmentation strategies for targeted, personalized campaigns
- Work closely with Content, Design and Tech teams to ensure smooth campaign workflows and to gradually implement strategic and operational CRM initiatives
- Build and maintain an omnichannel CRM funnel (B2C and B2B)
- Responsible for budget and revenue planning and control for the email marketing channel to ensure efficient use of resources
- Direct reporting to the Head of E‑Commerce
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience in email marketing, ideally in e‑commerce and in D2C and B2B environments
- First experience or a strong interest in CRM, customer retention and customer lifecycle management
- Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams (including international teams)
- Analytical and conceptual thinker with a structured working approach and a strong sense of customer needs
- High level of initiative, solution orientation and results focus
- Confident use of email marketing tools (e.g., CleverReach, Klaviyo, Emarsys, Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar)
- Fluent German and English; additional language skills are a plus.
