About the role
- Planning, execution and analysis of email campaigns (newsletters, trigger emails, promotions, etc.)
- Further development of automated customer journeys across the funnel (e.g., welcome series, cart abandonment, reactivation)
- Responsibility for performance KPIs such as open rates, clicks, conversions, unsubscribe rates
- Development of segmentation strategies for targeted, personalized campaigns
- Close collaboration with Content, Design and Tech teams to ensure smooth campaign workflows, as well as the phased implementation of strategic and operational CRM initiatives
- Build and maintain a cross-channel CRM funnel (B2C and B2B)
- Responsible for budget and revenue planning and control of the email marketing channel to ensure efficient use of resources
- Direct reporting to the Head of E-Commerce
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience in email marketing, ideally in e-commerce and in D2C and B2B environments
- Initial experience or strong interest in CRM, customer retention and customer lifecycle management
- Excellent communication skills and experience working with interdisciplinary teams (including international teams)
- Analytical and conceptual thinking, structured working style and a good sense for customer needs
- High degree of initiative, solution orientation and result focus
- Confident use of email marketing tools (e.g., CleverReach, Klaviyo, Emarsys, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar)
- Fluent German and English skills; additional language skills are an advantage
