About the role
- Proactively source and qualify new VBC prospects through outbound outreach, creative networking, and market intelligence
- Build strong relationships with clinical operations leaders, engineering teams, and VBC executives
- Manage deals end-to-end—from discovery to contracting—with a bias toward momentum and closing
- Deliver high-impact, self-run demos of Zus APIs, data services, and components
- Translate customer workflows into clear technical integration plans
- Scope and guide proof-of-concept builds that demonstrate real value
- Articulate how Zus fits into VBC tech stacks, care models, and data workflows
- Understand how VBC organizations use data for risk stratification, care coordination, clinical documentation, and quality performance
- Identify opportunities where Zus can reduce operational burden or enhance care delivery
- Provide structured feedback to Product and Engineering based on real customer needs
- Perform other tasks as assigned
Requirements
- At least 8 years of recent experience selling complex SaaS application software solutions within the healthcare industry, with a focus on digital health or value-based care organizations
- Consistently hit goals and exceed annual revenue targets
- Able to independently run demos, troubleshoot basic integration questions, and guide technical evaluations
- Proven ability to prospect, open doors, and build pipeline from scratch
- Experience navigating multi-department technical sales cycles (clinical ops, product, engineering, compliance)
- Strong communicator who can simplify technical concepts for diverse audiences
- High integrity, high drive, and a roll-up-your-sleeves approach to winning deals
- Proven track record of acquiring clients, negotiating, and selling platform solutions to executives of healthcare companies
- Data-driven and action-oriented, with the ability to analyze sales data and metrics to inform decision-making and drive results
- High level of integrity, empathy, and professionalism, with a demonstrated ability to build trust and rapport with customers
- Bachelor’s degree
- Willingness to travel and attend conferences as needed to represent Zus Health and engage with potential customers
- Passion for improving healthcare in the US
