About the role

  • Help build the next generation of healthtech tools
  • Collect health data from a broad range of internal and external sources
  • Make data useful for users of the Zus platform
  • Build software that interacts with external health data networks and first party systems
  • Load patient information into Zus data stores at high volume
  • Request data for customers and internal stakeholders
  • Work on data pipelines using various AWS services (Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, etc)
  • Develop RESTful services used both internally and externally
  • Work primarily with Go, with some components in JavaScript/TypeScript and Python
  • Deploy, maintain, and operate pipelines and services.

  • The ability to write clean code
  • A love of solving complex problems
  • A self-starter attitude that shows that you are ready for the fast, and sometimes unstructured, nature of an early startup
  • Located in the Boston, MA; Dallas, TX; Philadelphia, PA; or Portland, ME area and willing to join us in the office or regularly meet with a local mentor on a regular basis for collaborative work
  • Interested in working with healthcare data and APIs
  • Able to work on a co-op from July through December
