About the role
- Assist the Technical Manager in troubleshooting and debugging code within D365 F&O.
- Contribute with developing and maintain X++ code, extensions, and integrations aligned with business requirements.
- Collaborate with functional team members along with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and performance standards.
- Support data ETL, reporting, and integration activities using D365 tools and APIs.
- Document technical designs, configurations, and customizations for future reference.
- Stay current with Microsoft updates, hotfixes, and new features in D365 F&O.
- Provide technical support for production issues and assist in root cause analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of hands-on development experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) or AX.
- Deep functional and technical expertise in D365 F&O, particularly within Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, Planning, Forecasting, and Manufacturing modules.
- Experience leading operational process optimization across multi-site environments (procure-to-pay, production planning, inventory control).
- Strong proficiency in X++, Visual Studio, and D365 development frameworks.
- Experience with extensions, customizations, and integrations (OData, REST, Data Management Framework).
- Knowledge of ERP architecture and integrations with WMS, MES, and third-party logistics systems.
- Understanding of SQL Server, data entities, SSRS reporting, and lifecycle tools such as Azure DevOps and LCS.
- Familiarity with Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps) and Azure services for reporting, automation, and solution enhancement.
- Extensive knowledge of MRP, ATP, demand forecasting, and related supply chain planning concepts.
- Authorization to work in the United States for any employer.
