About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct field inspections and related tasks
- Read maps and aerial photos, measure fields, and discuss findings with farmers
- Convey complex regulations and interpretations to claimants and agents
- Perform fact finding regarding crop damage and transmit loss information
- Complete claim reviews and audits on lower-level adjusters as assigned

Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 6 months+ of experience in agricultural area
- Crop Adjuster Proficiency Program Certification (CAPP) must be obtained within 180 days of hire date
- Reliable personal transportation and travel within territory
- Valid Driver’s License
- Physical requirements include walking in fields up to 3 miles, climbing bins up to 25 feet, lifting 25 lbs. to 50 lbs., working outdoors in varying conditions
- For Adjuster II: 2+ years in crop insurance and claims adjusting
- For Specialist: 4+ years in agriculture or crop insurance industry with CAPP certification
