About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Role supports private products pricing function using a strong knowledge of private products in Crop Insurance
Role will conduct pricing of crop insurance products (hail, wind, and rain products) using NCIS loss costs
Work with Actuary Lead to create better target prices for private products at the plan and endorsement level for each county where the products are sold
Work with NCIS on loss cost data which determines the pricing

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree and 5 or more years of experience in the Product Development area OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 7 or more years of experience in the Product Development area
Property and Casualty insurance experience in one major line of business
Understanding how private crop products are priced and developed
Understand how data is used to appropriately calculate a target price
Strong crop insurance knowledge, particularly in the private products space
Strong Excel background
Strong data analysis skills, working with enterprise level data sets
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills.
