About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Providing jurisdictional inspections and machinery breakdown risk assessment services for customers and business partners.
Provides intermediate machinery breakdown consultative services to customers, including identifying exposures with significant loss potential, investigation of cause/effect of major losses and hazard/machinery breakdown management programs.
Provides basic level training for customers, service design and coordination, marketing, and loss investigations.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelors Degree and 2 or more years of experience within Boiler and Machinery in the Risk Engineering and Safety area OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 4 or more years of experience within Boiler and Machinery in the Risk Engineering and Safety area
Bachelors Degree and 3 or more years of experience within Boiler and Machinery in the Risk Engineering area OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 5 or more years of experience within Boiler and Machinery in the Risk Engineering area
Knowledge within the boiler and machinery industry segment
Relevant experience in the assessment of risk, based on what is required by Machinery Breakdown specific competency standards
National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors Commission Card
Navy Nuclear School
Insurance industry experience
Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Teams, and Word)
Strong communication and organization skills
Experience working in a team environment
