About the role

  • Follow up on quotations and complete sales of Zurich products (home, motor & van) over the phone – directly with customers
  • Work in a target driven environment and be rewarded with a competitive sales bonus on a monthly basis
  • Identify and develop calls likely to result in new business
  • Identify cross-selling prospects for additional products and arrange follow-up calls with customers for future sales opportunities
  • Convert quotations into sales to exceed team targets
  • Retain current customers in line with challenging business targets
  • Identify upsell opportunities for additional policy benefits
  • Contact targeted renewals to drive retention targets
  • Build rapport & relationships with potential and existing customers

Requirements

  • Excellent phone manner & communication skills
  • Good IT Skills (use of MS Office Products)
  • Minimum of 2 H5's or higher level C3's in the Leaving Certificate (or equivalent) Third Level Qualification (minimum level 6 standard)
  • Completed or be in the process of completing CIP as a minimum and / or ACII qualification – more desirable than required
  • Previous experience of working in a sales & target driven environment
  • Good negotiation skills to close new business or renewal offers & be target focused
  • Enthusiastic, professional, positive and flexible approach including the ability to self-motivate
  • Attention to details, ability to interpret data and follow workflows
