About the role

  • Build and unit/integration testing of APIs and integration
  • chance to be part of new project that will build a new end-to-end Digital Native Insurance Platform to enable new distribution models
  • Insurance offerings on this platform will be specifically designed for high levels of automation and straight through processing across the full insurance value chain

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years software development experience
  • 5+ years’ experience in MuleSoft
  • Experience in Cloudhub/Onprem
  • Designing and developing APIs from specification to implementation in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform including Anypoint API Designer, Anypoint Exchange, Anypoint API Portal and Anypoint Studio
  • Experience with security APIs
  • Documentation of APIs using Swagger
  • Experience with high volume and high concurrency applications
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation
  • Solid knowledge of Object Oriented design principles
  • Interfacing with other teams for technical details related to integration between systems (both internal & external)
  • Strong knowledge of technology and product trends, especially what is happening in open source, DevOps, AI.
  • 8+ years programming experience
  • Strong experience with API development using REST/JSON, Swagger & Postman
  • 5+ years of experience in Mule/Java programming
  • Experience with SOAP, JavaScript programming, design patterns
  • Experience with MuleSoft and AWS highly regarded
  • Experience with JIRA, BitBucket, Bamboo, Sonarqube
  • Knowledge of object-oriented modelling
  • Sound understanding of IT project delivery and agile / DevOps methodologies
