You lead, develop and coach a team of underwriters and senior underwriters across two different regions
You ensure market-oriented risk selection, including the portfolio quality of P&C personal lines products, and prepare analyses as well as proactive, continuous improvements to processes and services in coordination with product management, sales and claims
You ensure regional market presence by maintaining relationships with agencies and independent distribution partners
You actively contribute to the strategic direction of operational underwriting and support the development of new and revised market offerings (products/services)

Requirements

University or university of applied sciences degree, or commercial vocational training in the insurance sector, supplemented by relevant specialist qualifications
Relevant professional experience in the national P&C insurance business, ideally in underwriting or product management
Proven leadership and/or project experience, ideally within the insurance industry
Excellent conceptual and analytical skills, combined with a quick grasp and a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach
Excellent German and French skills at C2 level, both written and spoken
