About the role

  • You independently analyze business performance and ensure transparency in the financial development of our distribution partners
  • You take full responsibility for financial controlling as well as planning and forecasting for the strategically important Partnerships business area
  • With your plans, forecasts and precise variance analyses you provide a robust decision-making basis for management
  • You develop business cases and ad-hoc analyses to further develop the business
  • In addition, you act as a sparring partner for management on strategic, financial and insurance-related matters

Requirements

  • Self-motivation, a strong sense of responsibility, team orientation and a confident presence
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills, even when handling complex issues
  • University degree in Economics/Business Administration or a comparable field
  • Several years of solid professional experience in financial controlling, analysis and performance management
  • Very good knowledge of finance/accounting under IFRS and HGB, ideally with experience in the insurance industry
  • Confident user of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Business-fluent German and English
