About the role
- Handle, analyze and resolve claims for commercial business (Property, Liability, and related lines) independently and in line with Zurich’s service standards
- Review policy coverage, gather facts, assess losses, and negotiate settlements with customers, brokers, and other partners
- Ensure accurate, timely claims handling, balancing customer focus with adherence to legal and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate closely with Underwriting, Risk Engineering, and Legal to resolve complex cases and identify process improvements
- Support digitalization and continuous development of claims processes
- Act as a point of escalation for particularly complex or high-value claims (for Senior/Expert level)
- Contribute to sharing knowledge and best practices within the Claims team
Requirements
- 5+ years (mid-level) or 8+ years (expert level) claims handling experience in commercial, industrial, or corporate insurance
- Solid understanding of Polish insurance law, policy wordings, and the regulatory environment
- Experience managing complex or high-value claims with a customer and solutions-oriented approach
- Degree in Law, Insurance, Business, or related discipline; professional insurance qualifications are a plus
- Analytical, decisive, and able to manage multiple stakeholders under time pressure
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong team player with proactive, reliable, and collaborative work style
- Fluent in Polish and English (spoken and written); German language skills are an advantage
