About the role
- Conduct on-site company visits to perform risk assessments using Zurich’s methodology, and develop loss scenarios and estimates where models are not available
- Propose and implement tailored solutions for industrial clients, particularly in the chemical industry in Switzerland, Europe and overseas, to effectively reduce risks and communicate these solutions clearly
- Support clients, including those in the chemical sector, in developing mitigation and adaptation strategies, with a focus on property damage and business interruption
- Assist in the development and promotion of new services to meet customer needs
- Contribute to the global network by sharing knowledge on risk concepts and best practices
Requirements
- University degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
- More than 7 years of experience in a comparable role, preferably in risk management within the insurance industry
- Experience in process development or production is an advantage
- Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and persuasively to all levels of management and stakeholders with varying technical backgrounds
- Fluent in English and German; knowledge of French and other languages is an advantage
