About the role
- Monitor product line submission email boxes; clear and enter submissions according to standard guidelines; archive, label and index email and attachments; assign and route to correct Underwriter.
- Communicate with producers to confirm submission receipt, provide transparency on submission process, and ensure complete submission information is available for Underwriting teams.
- Provide superior customer/broker service by collaborating closely with Underwriters and Underwriting Account Service Associates, internal partners, and external partners.
- Support prioritization of submissions based on defined criteria.
- Timely and accurate submission clearance, triage, and routing for the E&S BU.
- Receive, investigate, and respond to technical queries from producers and/or colleagues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and no prior experience in the Administrative, Customer Service, Financial Services, Risk Management, or Insurance area OR Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice, including Associate Degree and no prior experience in the Administrative, Customer Service, Financial Services, Risk Management, or Insurance area OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 2 or more years of experience in the Administrative, Customer Service, Financial Services, Risk Management, or Insurance area.
- Knowledge of data collection and analysis.
- Microsoft Office experience.
- Insurance industry knowledge preferred.
- Knowledge of processing, rating and policy management systems used in the insurance industry preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer service experience.
