About the role

  • Develops, executes and maintains a Compliance Assurance strategy and framework
  • Collaborate with business management to identify and manage compliance risks
  • Execute assigned assurance activities from the risk-based assurance plan
  • Make recommendations to further increase the effectiveness and simplification of the assurance processes
  • Assess complex business processes and controls using the compliance assurance approach
  • Report or prepare adequate reporting regarding progress against allocated assurance activities

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or other relevant degree
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in compliance, audit, or risk management
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) will be considered an advantage
  • Solid understanding of Insurance and Takaful laws and regulations
  • Strong understanding of compliance frameworks, risk-based assurance, and governance processes
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proactive, a self-motivated attitude
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
