About the role
- Develops, executes and maintains a Compliance Assurance strategy and framework
- Collaborate with business management to identify and manage compliance risks
- Execute assigned assurance activities from the risk-based assurance plan
- Make recommendations to further increase the effectiveness and simplification of the assurance processes
- Assess complex business processes and controls using the compliance assurance approach
- Report or prepare adequate reporting regarding progress against allocated assurance activities
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or other relevant degree
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in compliance, audit, or risk management
- Professional certifications such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) will be considered an advantage
- Solid understanding of Insurance and Takaful laws and regulations
- Strong understanding of compliance frameworks, risk-based assurance, and governance processes
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive, a self-motivated attitude
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
