About the role

  • Drive and execute the distribution strategies to achieve business excellence for Life Distribution Business
  • Drive and manage strategic initiatives by mobilizing resources, resolving conflicts, collaborating across teams & functions, providing clear prioritization of business initiatives to achieve business goals
  • Build and foster trusted relationships with key stakeholders; responsible for engagements with frontline, distribution partners, business functions, etc. within the company
  • Closely work with Direct Channel on strategic initiatives, business planning and operational excellence to accelerate business growth
  • Ensure alignment between Distribution Channel and Direct Channel on strategic objectives and execution
  • Leverage on internal and market data to provide insights into sales and customer feedback, market trend and business performance, recommendations for business excellence and continuous improvement
  • Ensure the governance and compliance are in place and aligned with internal and external regulations and guidelines
  • Responsible to produce regular and ad-hoc research papers / reports / business cases on strategic initiatives and market landscape

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related disciplines
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in strategy development / project management / distribution engagement in insurance or financial services industry
  • Solid knowledge in insurance products, distribution models, direct and digital channels, go-to-market processes, etc.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and influencing skills
  • Effective communicator with strong presentation and reporting skills
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
