💰 $115,200 - $188,700 per year
About the role
- Maintain and underwrite a production portfolio to stay attuned with regional market changes and desk-level challenges
- Demonstrate marketplace visibility to meet with our agents and brokers
- Adhere by the office requirement of 3 days per week to meet with your team to build a collaborative high-performing team
- Work closely in concert with Regional Leadership to execute on the established KPIs for the territory
- Manage a team of skilled Primary Casualty Underwriters
- Travel as necessary to support the needs of the team and to cultivate relationships with national wholesalers to drive growth with a focus on profitability
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent and 7 or more years of experience in the Underwriting or Market Facing area
- OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 14 or more years of experience in the claims or Under Support area
- OR Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate’s Degree and 5 or more years of experience in the Underwriting or Market Facing area
- AND 2 or more years of management experience
- AND Experience with Microsoft Office
