About the role
- Provide basic actuarial services under direct instruction of a more experienced actuary
- Perform statistical analyses, model and analyze data and develop models and programs for model building and analyses; interpret results of models and analyses
- Compile and categorize data and document and verify factors and assumptions used in computations to ensure robust output
- Assist in the development of risk based capital models as well as parameterization and allocation activities to support actuarial services
- Participate in the evaluation and review of new and proposed processes and systems
- Demonstrate increasing knowledge of actuarial disciplines and procedures to build value adding, relevant technical knowledge
- Work with actuarial colleagues to develop understanding of company operations, business objectives and actuarial methodologies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
- Internship experience in Valuation or Pricing within the insurance or takaful industry
- Familiarity with actuarial concepts and insurance principles
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail
