About the role
- Lead the development and implementation of underwriting solutions for Specialty, Commercial Property and Casualty Lines of Business
- Identify market standard product opportunities
- Maintain and promote existing strategic partnerships
- Advise the Business Unit and Underwriters in responding to coverage requests
- Promote a consistent approach to coverage
- Structure new endorsements and manage the endorsement library
- Support underwriting strategy and product development
- Participate in compliance-related queries
- Lead product refreshes
Requirements
- JD and 6 or more years of experience of law practice specializing in the insurance area
- Specialty, Commercial Property and Casualty lines product experience
- Coverage experience
- Experience working with state regulators
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
