About the role
- Perform complex finance operations tasks for bankrupt accounts
- Organize and direct the Zurich North American Bankruptcy Action Teams
- Monitor bankruptcy matters and file bankruptcy Proof of Claims
- Work with internal and external attorneys and third-party vendors
- Review legal documents and participate in Bankruptcy Action Teams
- Create payment and financial analyses, bad debt reserving and reporting
- Prepare account receivables statements and payment applications for collateral
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 5 or more years of experience in the Finance Operations area OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 7 or more years of experience in the Finance Operations area
- Experience with legal collections
- Experience in finance terminology and practices
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
