About the role
- You proactively and independently advise the specialist departments of the Swiss business unit, in particular on matters of contract, corporate and insurance law
- You actively contribute to building a modern Legal Operations function
- In doing so, you analyse and optimise legal advisory processes, participate in digitisation and automation projects, and evaluate and implement innovative Legal Tech solutions
- You monitor legislative and regulatory developments and support the implementation of new legal requirements
- You act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, conduct contract negotiations and prepare well-founded legal opinions
- You apply your expertise purposefully to continuously improve the efficiency and quality of legal advice
Requirements
- Degree in law from a Swiss university; admission to the bar is an advantage
- At least five years of relevant professional experience – ideally in the financial services industry, an in-house legal department, or a law firm
- Experience in Legal Operations is a plus
- Solid knowledge of contract, corporate and/or insurance law and willingness to familiarize yourself with new legal areas
- Enthusiasm for IT, new technologies and digital ways of working, together with initiative, independence and strong communication skills
- Excellent German and English skills; any additional national language is an advantage
