About the role
- Based at our Frankfurt office, you will actively contribute to the development and validation of the Internal Model
- Independently carry out analyses (e.g., backtesting and reserve stress tests) and develop scenario analyses within the ORSA framework
- Depending on your strengths and interests, you will also take on project management responsibilities, e.g., for major model changes or cross-department initiatives
- You will contribute to the preparation of the annual overall validation report and work closely with international stakeholders, the Zurich Group, the Executive Board and BaFin
- As part of the Capital & Risk Modelling team at Zurich Insurance Europe AG (ZIE), you can apply and deepen your expertise and further develop into coordination and project leadership roles
- You will work in an international, open team and actively help shape the future of risk management at ZIE
Requirements
- Analytical mindset and a structured, solution-oriented approach to work
- High resilience and a strong performance orientation
- Strong communication and self-management skills
- Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken (working language: English)
- Solid knowledge of risk modelling under Solvency II; actuarial qualifications such as Actuary, CERA or Financial Risk Manager (FRM) are a plus
- Project management experience is an advantage
